Who I am

Hi! My name is Tivoli Freedman. I’m currently a Recruiting Intern for the University of Colorado Buffaloes football team, where I’m grateful to gain hands-on experience in collegiate athletics and learn from an incredible program. Outside of my role, I love writing about sports marketing, especially how athletes, teams, and brands use digital strategy, NIL, and social media to connect with fans. Writing has become a space where I can explore the creative side of sports and develop my voice in an industry I care deeply about.

I’m majoring in Communications with a minor in Sports Media and Management, and I hope to build a career in marketing or production within the sports world. I have a particular passion for football, baseball, and hockey, and dream of working with a team or organization in one of these areas. Some of my favorite teams include the Georgia Bulldogs, CU Buffaloes, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco 49ers.

I was born and raised in San Diego, and my family’s roots in Atlanta have always kept me connected to the South as well. Those two places shape who I am—both in the way I see the world and in the way I connect with others. Whether I’m writing, learning on the field, or working behind the scenes, I’m driven by the energy, excitement, and community that sports create. I’m excited to keep growing and share more of that journey with you.
